Is This Really Happening….

There were so many moments during this journey where I wanted to give up. Moments where I wanted to throw in the towel completely. At one point, I even considered taking a sabbatical because everything felt so overwhelming.

Leasing my own office space so I could finally see clients in person sounded exciting at first, and it was. The day I signed the lease, I was filled with hope, excitement, and pride. But shortly after, reality hit me hard. I quickly realized it was literally just me, with very limited help, trying to bring this vision to life.

The empty office that once felt like a dream suddenly became a reminder of everything that still needed to get done. The furniture, the setup, the decorating, the finances, the balancing of motherhood, work, and life, all of it started to feel heavy. But even through the overwhelm, I kept showing up. Every Saturday, or during the weekdays after dropping my son off at the gym, I would stop by the office and work on it little by little. One piece at a time. One task at a time.

After assembling a desk, a sofa, and a bookshelf, and after many moments of exhaustion and self-doubt, it finally started coming together. Slowly, it began looking like my own little space. A safe space. A healing space. And honestly, sometimes I still walk in and think, Is this really happening?

This journey reminded me how important it is to stay focused and locked in on your dreams, even when the process feels slow or lonely. Some dreams take years. Others take months. But either way, growth requires patience, consistency, and faith. I’m a huge believer that hard work pays off. Not because the journey is easy, but because the person you become while building your dream is worth every difficult moment along the way. So if you’re in a season where things feel overwhelming, keep going. Even if progress feels small. Even if it’s one step at a time.

Little by little still becomes something beautiful.
